Dear Family and Friends,
Welcome to my first attempt at blogging! For those of you brave enough to continue, I am keeping this as a way of remembering my becoming a mom for the first time through adoption.
My daughter is somewhere in China. I think I can safely say she is alive and waiting for me to bring her home as my LID or "Log in Date" with the China Center for Adoption Affairs (CCAA) is December 5, 2005. As of today, the CCAA has processed all documents up through November 14, 2005. This means that although there are only 3 weeks worth of paperwork to process, this could take another 3-5 months of waiting!
I hope to be able to keep everyone up to date with what is happening both before and while I travel to China by using this site.
Again, welcome! and thanks for coming along for the ride!
Blessings,
Chinamom
